April 2021’s PlayStation Plus games have been officially announced, and as always, we want to know what you think of them. In case you missed it, the lineup includes Oddworld: Soulstorm on PS5, and it’s joined by Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War on PS4. No, we haven’t somehow time-jumped to October by accident, and no, we don’t know why Sony’s gone with a zombie theme in the middle of spring. Your guess is as good as ours.
Assuming Oddworld: Soulstorm is worth your time (we’re in the process of reviewing it right now), this is another solid PS Plus selection. However, the inclusion of Days Gone has inevitably rubbed some people the wrong way. After all, the open world title is already available as part of the PS Plus Collection on PS5. It’s also on PS Now, PlayStation’s other, less popular subscription service (but that’s a whole different conversation).
