It may come as a bit of a surprise, but the original Horse Club Adventures was actually pretty decent. In fact, we’re quite looking forward to saddling up once more as Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories gallops into view.

Created by schleich and Wild River Games, Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories romps over the horizon to release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC to give fans of the Horse Club series another chance to immerse themselves into the world, taking in quests and running off on adventures.

Priced at £24.99, Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories sees you once again returning to the Riding Stables that you discovered in the original game, this time complete with new stories and mysteries, adventures and more. Part of that ‘more’ is the village of Hazelwood, where the newly titled Hazelwood Stories begin to take hold.

Arrive in town on horseback and you’ll discover that Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories will task you with taking part in exciting contests and competitions, as the most familiar of settings and characters play out. There will even be the chance to jump off your horse and enjoy the companionship of a little canine too.

On the whole though, we know what to expect in Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories – a variety of riding disciplines, competitions, dressage and show jumping. If that’s your bag, we’re sure that Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories will be of interest.

You’ll also be able to get down and dirty with the customisation side of Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories, allowing even the youngest of players to through in filters, individual styles and play around with a host of image edits.

Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories is available right now from the usual stores and is recommended for those aged six and up. The Xbox Store will cover what is needed in terms of a purchase if you’re looking to play it on Xbox (either Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S), whilst this is also on Nintendo Switch and PC. Expect Horse Club Adventures 2: Hazelwood Stories to pop up on PlayStation come November 24th 2022.

Review? Yeah, ours is in the works and will be with you soon.

Game Description:

Are you ready for more adventures together? It’s autumn in Lakeside and the Horse Club™ is waiting for you! Ride off with the friends Hannah, Lisa, Sarah and Sofia and let them show you the small town of Hazelwood. The loveliest photos are wanted for a contest there – will you find the best photo motifs together and on your horses? It’s not so easy, but luckily you meet up with lots of friends who help you, and afterwards you can play out a wide variety of stories with them: helping out at the riding stables, taking photos of birds, finding hidden treasures – apart from the thrilling main story, diverse experiences await you, too. Demonstrate your skill at elegant dressage, on the dusty Western riding grounds, in fast-paced obstacle-course races, at herding stubborn livestock, or at “Pop & Gallop” while trying to improve your high score! Enjoy rides out in the open, lovingly designed world: Hazelwood, sunny beaches, autumn forests and dusky swamps, all the way to snow-capped mountains. Tend to your horse: feeding, washing, scraping out hooves or simply just an affectionate hug – your friendship and abilities will steadily grow. Design yourself and your horse to please you: With over a hundred unlockable pieces of clothing and customizations you can find a style all your own. Including completely dubbed texts in French and an original soundtrack by Winifred Phillips.
