There is an unnecessary stigma thrown at playing games on a mobile phone that still exists. Seen as lesser titles, there is a wealth of fun to be uncovered. One such title that is adored by mobile gamers is finally arriving on Xbox consoles, to welcome in a new group of gamers. The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands is out today on Xbox, with a Nintendo Switch version following soon after.

The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands is a survival game with a relaxing feel to it. This may sound oxymoronic, but trust is, it is. Your first task is to build a bonfire. This brings with it more workers to help build your settlement. However, it also acts as a beacon for some of the monsters during a nighttime.

As you progress, more workers will come to your aid. How you put them to work can determine how successful your settlement will be. Employ another farmer or turn them into guards? Other jobs include scouts, warriors, alchemists and more. You are free to make your choices, but you must suffer the consequences too.

We sent one of our own into the world of The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands to see how they would get on. You can read their review here.

If the sound of an idle survival game tickles your pickle, The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands can be picked up now on the Xbox Store for the price of £6.49.
